In his book Smart Moves, said Dr. Carla Hannaford us why we should move to fully activate our learning potential.

Personally, I have written articles and e-books for the whole body exercise for flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, energy levels and enhance weight loss. These exercises can be performed with 5-year olds to professional athletes.

Both Dr. Hannaford and I talk about education in the nervous system in an attempt to improve the mental and motorfeature. I come from an exercise standpoint. I learn how to use your hips and butt your brains too smooth, coordinated movement patterns train. Ultimately, the executor of his body exercises to move as designed to move and the brains to operate at a higher capacity. This gives an energetic, happier, healthier and more stimulating lifestyle!

Did you know that about nine million children over 6 years in the U.S. considered overweightand 2% receive help for some types of learning disabilities? Let me tell you what you as parents can do to help.

I would now like to put out 5 tips that you and your children can do today that will make a difference in their motor and mental functioning. You will do what my slogan for my website promises that "education and training today …. Educate for life".

1) I recommend that your family dynamic flexibility instill in your day. These exercisesTo improve balance and flexibility in your muscles and joints. You're actually moving while you stretch, not "to be held in 10 seconds" of the black past.

Two good examples of this type of stretching would be: 1. a long wandering, with rotation of the leg forward, alternating legs with each step, the 2 "inch worm" where you start in a push-up position, place your feet on your hands, keeping legs straight and then walk your hands back to push upposition … an inch worm. This dynamic stretching better balance, strength, coordination and flexibility above all.

2) the combined playing time and family time. While on trips with the family, the children command to jump, jump, balance on 1 leg, "balancing" of the street corner or bear crawl in the grass (because the head). This stimulates the nervous system of the child "and have fun at the same time. Let each family member in turn determine the activity, and this will bringcreativity in your children.

I understand the younger the child, the shorter the attention span tends to be. I recommend them to lead the activity, but gradually they send back to more practice-related tasks.

3) Let your kids drink plenty of water. A half past twelve grams of water per kilogram of body weight would be good. If your child is 70 pounds, for example, weighs 35 ounces would one days a good start. Unfortunately, many children and adults who are dehydrated a large percentageof time.

Sufficient drinking water will be a normal muscle, brains and other organs to function. It will help their vigilance, creativity, social skills and success in school work.

4) Do your children eat 3 meals and 2 healthy snacks a day. Breakfast is a must! Get them before if that is what is needed! Meals should include protein, carbohydrates and 8 liter water or juice. A good rule of thumb is that for every gram of protein, has 3 grams of carbohydrates. Make surefruits and vegetables are carbohydrates.

If you as parents to follow this diet, the greater the chance that your children come to respect it. Healthy snacks are fruits, nuts and grains. Bon appetite!

5) Limit TV for 1-2 hours a day … for starters. Children's brains are in a lower level of function, while watching television, a "passive" mode if you want. Active think and reason can not occur.

Children (and) adults' minds are stimulatedof the world and the people around them. Your brains, muscles and joints are much better off if the TV is off and they move, or at least engaged in participatory democracy conversation! I know, I know I'm a fan of reality TV is, but you must try!

6) Bonus: Use the Internet to learn about and practice how you can improve health and mental state. You and your children can learn from the exponential amount of information available on the Internet. Thisis also good, quality family time.

As you can see all this can be done easily and immediately. Bring them to your family will be fun, maybe a little challenging, but worthwhile.

The bottom line is to move your children to stimulate their bodies and brains. It's the best you can do for their physical and mental health!
