If you are new to the world of fitness you may sometimes feel lost with the tons of products and programs available for getting into shape. Developing a sound network of friends, acquaintances, and professionals can help provide you with quality insight in this industry. Listed below are a few guidelines and suggestions for building ones personal ‘fitness network’:

1. Your Primary Care Physician. Do not neglect this. First of all your doctor will be happy to see that you are motivated enough to take steps to improve your health. It is highly recommended that before you engage in any exercise regime or start taking any supplement that you talk things over with your doctor and have them perform a physical to make sure you are healthy enough to take your fitness to the next level.

2. If you join a gym or fitness center I strongly recommend that you do some sessions with a personal trainer for several reasons. First, most personal trainers are people who are very passionate about what they do and truly enjoy helping others. Your personal trainer will show you proper exercise technique and demonstrate how to use the equipment within the facility to prevent injury. Some personal trainers are also very knowledgeable with supplements and can make diet recommendations to assist you with your workouts.

3. Health Food/ Wellness Store Associates. Sometimes I go to GNC or the Vitamin Shoppe and I may not spend a thing. I sometimes just go in to pick the brains of the employees. Some of the associates at these type of stores are also very passionate about health and fitness. Some are even personal trainers or fitness instructors. Believe it or not some of them are not just there to make a sale. Some have tried the products and will give you there honest opinion on the effectiveness of certain items. I learn a lot by just listening to them and then doing my own research.

4. On-line. Yes the Internet. As you can see you are reading this article. With the Internet there is a vast amount of information at our finger tips. Join some of the many fitness forums or communities like Team Beachbody, or Bodybuilding.com which are setup where you can have workout buddies and join discussions. Lots of good info on the fitness community sites. Also, just about everybody I know is familiar with Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter. All of these social networking sites have groups focused on health and fitness. Find a few and join as they are a great source of information.

5. If you know somebody at work, in your neighborhood, or meet someone at the gym who shares your interest in health and fitness, do not hesitate to mingle with them. Talk to each other get each others email addresses and if you see a good health tip pass it on. Or if you see a good fitness challenge that you think may be of interest to them, let them know. This can be an excellent way to motivate each other.

That should be enough to get you started on building a sound fitness network.

When I was younger, I used a lot of singing in public and serve. A cold, therefore meant damaged vocal means no income. At that time I thought that many of the curative powers of medicine and every time a cold attack, I have the usual "stuff a cold and starve a fever". What was worse was that it usually took me too long to recover from an attack that left me unable to perform and an income. There was this very important concert because I hadrun in collaboration with others. I was so excited because it was no small time act. All forms of advertising were used for the event and the place had been prepared. Suddenly, three days before the expected performance, I caught a terrible cold.

I went to the head of the affair and reported my sad condition. Fortunately, the leader was a physician who was not convinced of the healing powers of medicine. And it was he who introduced me to the "fastcure ", which he practices when he hit one. I was advised to go hungry and something to eat, but I can drink all the water I can, until my heart rate and body temperature normal. I was also advised to determine rest in bed for three days, and he promised me that I would be as good as new afterwards. I was told not to listen to my family, relatives and doctors, as they tell me to eat to get my strength back. He assured me that I would not grow weak because of lack of nutrition in a three-dayfasting. I also learned not able to digest food properly if the person has a fever, so it is advisable, really fast.

I took his advice and the results were exactly as he had said. After the expiry of the three days fast, I was able to make a final rehearsal on the afternoon of the big event to join. And that night, I sang my songs with no sign of a cold! In three days I was again very good one attack of cold by means of fasting, which normally would have taken me muchlonger if I had succumbed to a purely medical solutions.

Digestive disorders are caused by many factors. Eat and eat more than what is needed is a common reason. Other factors are premature and wrong to eat. These two alone cause approximately 80% of digestive disorders. Then there is the tobacco or cigar after a meal deals and business-first-before-meal approach.

I have a very good appetite and digestion of some things can lead to falter once in awhile. In these cases, the last time I resorted to fasting to my stomach a few days of rest. For my fever never bluetongue problems and colds and congenital disorders, fasting is not up to me to repair. Fasting may help cleanse the digestive system. It can be done through the supervision of an experienced nurse, with no other commercial medicine. Under these circumstances is almost certainly a good cure.

My summary of the case, as I have said that the difference betweenstarving and fasting lies in the mental attitude. The beneficial effect of fasting is that it allows the stomach necessary rest from all digestive problems. While the "bad cold" clogging excess dirt or dust is burnt or removed from the glands and body structures in much the same way that this objective is achieved by systematically prolonged exercise.

The only danger in fixed systems, if not too long duration, seems in order. Removable caredo not gorge yourself. Do this, and no harm will result. By the end of four days' fast I took, I ate in moderation, juice, well boiled rice, green peas and carrots. The next day I ate something I like, if I am chewing slowly.
